Junior; Sanchez, a soccer star and first ​time bballer joined the bball program ​during her sophomore year; her impact ​was immediately felt, being pulled up to ​varsity and ending the SY22-23 season as ​a leading rebounder & strong team leader.

Sophomore; Bruno is stepping up from ​JV this season to push some bodies ​around in the paint; last season with JV, ​Bruno was a team leader in rebounds ​and points; we are excited for the ​passion & drive she brings

Junior; returning for a 2nd season with ​varsity, America is an all around threat ​playing both down low and at the guard ​position; America was CA's second ​highest rebounder and was a team leader ​in steals during the SY22-23 season

Junior; a returning starter, Rodriguez creates ​chaos for opposing teams on both ends of ​the court; during the SY22-23 she led the ​team in points (several off fast breaks) & was ​a leader in steals; she spends her off-season ​training with the Chicago Sky Travel Team.

Junior; returning for their second year with ​varsity, Maribel has established herself as a ​strong point guard & has really taken charge ​of our offense; Maribel led the team in assists ​during the SY22-23 season, was a leading ​scorer- putting up several clutch 3s, & was a ​leader in steals on the defensive end.

Junior; bumping up to the varsity roster, Kennya ​brings energy and ferocity to the team; not only ​was Kennya a defensive nightmare for ​opposing teams, but she also led the team in ​jump balls and bruises

Senior; returning starter & only returning ​senior, Avila is the team rock & a force to ​be reckoned with; she absolutely ​dominated the paint & led the Cougars in ​rebounds, steals, & blocks, & and was a ​leading scorer during the SY22-23 season.
